Strava Title Generator
Stop posting "Morning Run". Get three titles written from the actual activity, pick a tone, and set it on Strava with one tap.
Most Strava titles are whatever the watch decided: Morning Run, Lunch Ride, Evening Walk. The activity itself was more interesting than that. This tool reads the details Strava already has (distance, moving time, elevation, start time, where you were, your description, the photo if there is one) and writes three titles that could only belong to that workout.
You choose the tone. Roast teases you about the effort. Clever goes for wordplay and understatement. Hype treats your Tuesday tempo like the main event. Random is for when you just want something nobody would expect. Add a keyword if you want it to mention the dog, the rain, or the race you were pretending you weren't doing.
When one lands, tap Set on Strava and it becomes the activity's name, with a small Roast My Strava credit in the description. There's an Undo if you regret it. Nothing changes on Strava until you press the button.
How it works
- 1
Connect Strava
Log in with Strava. Activities that still have a default name show up first.
- 2
Pick a tone
Roast, Clever, Hype or Random. Optional keywords if you want to steer it.
- 3
Set it
Three titles. Tap Set on Strava, or copy one. Undo is right there.
Questions people ask
Does it rename my activities automatically?
No. It never touches Strava on its own. You generate titles, you pick one, you tap Set on Strava. That sets the name and adds a one-line Roast My Strava credit to the description. Undo puts the old name back and removes the credit.
What does it use to write the title?
The activity's distance, moving time, elevation, start time, location, sport, your description if you wrote one, and the primary photo if there is one. It is told not to use your name.
What is the difference between Roast, Clever, Hype and Random?
Roast pokes fun at the specific effort, the kind of self-deprecating title you would happily post. Clever is dry wordplay with no roasting. Hype is triumphant and a little absurd. Random ignores the obvious angle entirely and goes somewhere strange that still fits. Same activity, four very different feeds.
How many titles can I generate?
Five activities a day, three titles each. If you run out, come back tomorrow, or reach out to the developer.
Does it work for cycling, swimming, hiking, walks?
Anything Strava records. Runs and rides are the most common, but it has named swims, hikes, dog walks, ski days and a lot of indoor trainer sessions.
What happens to my data?
The details it reads and the titles it writes are shown only to you. Nothing is posted to Strava unless you press Set on Strava. We do not train models on your data.
